Christmas market
The bright windows, the sweet scent of „Glühwein“ and „Bratwurst“ (red, hot, sweet wine and fried sausage) and the world largest quantity of Ore Mountain wood art awaits every year visitors from all over the world to show them how wonderful christmas here is.
Traditional the santa clause will be awaked here still September to send him the wishes directly by his own letterbox in the centre of Seiffen.
From the 1er advent weekend to the 4th advent you will find the typical Ore Mountain stalls. Our hotel is placed directly in the middle of this christmas wonderland.
The ore mountain „Hutzennachmittage“ with well knowned folklore groups in our house are very popular. You´ll find the event-programm as PDF-file on this website. download the programm (PDF).
Further highlights are the big opening parade of living toys and the Seiffen „Hüttenknappschaft“ on Saturday before 1st advent, as well as the light mars on the miner-path on the 2nd advent-weekend. The miners mars of the miners of saxony with a lot of miner bodies is before the 3rd advent.
